  Supposedly had reservations for a birthday party. Waited 55 minutes to be seated. Waited 20 minutes for beverages. 30 minutes more... no food. After it got comical how long our food was taking to get... we were informed our steaks had been dropped by the kitchen and they were starting from scratch. So 2 and 1/2 hours after arriving, we got our food. TX roadhouse food is always predictable. The waitress offered to buy me a beer but I knew it wasn't her fault. Just a poorly managed night. The manager came to say she was sorry... no comp on anything was offered... no discount... that's always disconcerting. Must happen a lot if they can't offer a peace gift. I'll be back because there is no other predictable steakhouse in the Mound. But it was definitely a bad night that deserves posting.

  Food was great... but made to feel that being a table of one was a bother... larger crowds and bigger tips are preferred I'm sure but we should all get excellent service

  This was our first visit as we recently moved to Texas. We are so glad we stopped in here. Kari our server was the best we have had in a long time. Her and the rest of the staff were so friendly!! The chili is amazing. We are chilli lovers and we are sure this is the best around. My husband's ribs fell off the bone. Make sure you are hungry when you go because they bring on the food. We will be driving back up from South Fort Worth to visit again.

  It's Friday night so of course a wait is to be expected. The issue with that is they having a small waiting area inside & it was cold & rainy tonight. We were told 25 to 35 minutes but a spot opened in the bar area after about 15 minutes so we took it. I had never sat in the bar area so it was a new experience. We missed out on the hot rolls & honey butter but Casey the bartender was great. The food here is usually perfect & while tonight it was great, the loaded mashed potatoes were a little off, but other then that everything was excellent.
