- 2 / 5By Sonu VarkeyI went to Asahi last night for dinner. Unfortunately, I was not overly impressed with the food. We ordered Hibachi with fried rice. The overall meal was very bland and I had to add salt, pepper, soy sauce, and sriracha to the fried rice to make it taste better. I understand that everyone has a different palate, but, they grossly overcooked my salmon and shrimp. I specifically asked for the salmon to be cooked rare or medium rare. The chef cooked it so much that it was almost inedible. The shrimp on the other hand was inedible. I ate one shrimp and forced it down, and left the remaining shrimp on my plate. There are better options for hibachi in the area.March 29, 2017
